Industrial cleaning agents in the market are divided into: environmental protection and non-environmental protection cleaning agents. The main environmental protection types are: water-based cleaning agent, hydrocarbon cleaning agent. The main non-environmental protection are: trichloroethylene, dichloromethane, white electric oil, bromopropane, tenna water, kerosene and so on.
Water-based cleaning agent and hydrocarbon cleaning agent will not cause occupational disease harm to the human body when used, but there are restrictions on cleaning product dirt, such as cleaning oil can not clean wax, corresponding dirt to choose the corresponding cleaning agent. Not as versatile as non-environmentally friendly cleaning agents. There is also a point that the price of environmental cleaning is relatively high, but also to avoid fire sources. But generally speaking, it still meets the requirements of enterprises.
Non-environmental protection industrial cleaning agent harm to the body:
1. Trichloroethylene: cleaning is unstable, the product is easy to be oxidized when in contact with air or oxygen, temperature rise or faster under ultraviolet light, serious harm to environmental pollution, can produce accumulation in aquatic organisms, short-term contact (inhalation, percutaneous or oral) a large amount of the product can cause acute poisoning. Inhalation of very high concentrations can induce rapid coma. Long-term exposure can cause symptoms such as trigeminal nerve paralysis.
2. Dichloromethane: dichloromethane has an anesthetic effect, mainly damage the central nervous system and respiratory system. Small amounts may cause minor irritation to the nose and throat. Flammable in case of high heat from open fire. When decomposed by heat, it emits phosgene which is highly toxic. In case of high heat, the pressure inside the container increases, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion.
3. Bromopropane: used in pesticides for the synthesis of organophosphorus insecticides, acaricides, propylophos, propylophos, etc., can also be used in medicine, dyes, spices industry, and as Grignard reagent raw materials.
Long-term bromopropane symptoms include headache, sleep disturbance, dizziness and blurred vision, followed by a staggering gait, numbness in the feet, legs and buttocks, as well as the lower back, paresthesia, decreased vibration sensation, diarrhoea and difficulty urinating.
4. Toluene: colorless transparent liquid, similar to benzene aroma. Health hazards: Irritation to the skin and mucous membranes, anesthetic effect on the central nervous system. It has serious harm to the environment and can pollute the air, water environment and water source.
Acute poisoning: Inhalation of high concentrations of this product in a short period of time may cause obvious irritation of the eyes and upper respiratory tract, congestion of the conjunctiva and pharynx, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, chest tightness, limb weakness, staggering gait, and confusion. Severe cases may have agitation, convulsions, coma.
Warm tips: The relevant state departments rule that cleaning agents that are harmful to the human body or pollute the environment are prohibited from being used and sold. It is recommended that relevant enterprises find relevant alternatives and purchase relevant enterprises with relevant test reports.
